100% agreed. And even worse than having dozens of different hormones, there needs to be a way to make sure the hormones are making it to the right location. As I understand it, with insulin, your body can be making it, but the cells aren't using it as they need to. I can only assume that's the same for every hormone. So maybe my test shows that my LSH/FH levels are "normal" but my body isn't using the hormones adequately.

Either way, I've always said starting to test hormone levels in our 40s is silly. We don't even have a base point from our 20s where potentially we felt our best.

We really just don't get the individual care that we truly need to be at our best.
