A cold approach method is similar to a cold call approach. All 100 of those women could have been in relationships or not interested in relationships. They could have been visiting from out of town. They could have been weirded out by being approached by someone out in public.

The problem with approaching someone in public is you know literally nothing about them - not even whether or not they're gay or straight or even in the dating pool.

It is always preferable to have at least general knowledge of the person you are hitting on, and better yet, a few conversations under your belt so you know if there is any connection or similarities at all.
