About 16% of wives make more than their husbands. I wouldn't say "many women earn more than their spouses."

That statement that men can take a lot of daily discomfort to avoid making decisions gave me the ick. It is a major problem in relationships when one person is making decisions and being the adult while the other is avoiding them.
