Absolutely! On all counts. I currently live in a multi-generational home with my 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren. My older two (25 and 27 years old) - both women - have lived on their own. My younger two (20 and 21) - both men - have not.

I have told them that before they get into a serious relationship they need to move out and figure out how to run a household. They are still young - but they both plan to buy their own place in the next 1-2 years.

But yes, your deal breakers were mine as well until I decided to remain single for a myriad of reasons.
