Agreed. I've always seen dating apps as providing the feeling that there's always a BBD (bigger better deal) on the horizon. Gotta keep swiping! Otherwise what if I miss out on a better match just down the road? They make it feel like good matches are unlimited.
I think the same thing is happening with employers and LinkedIn. They keep passing on great options in hopes of finding the BBD.
I don't use the dating apps anymore either. In fact, I don't date at all anymore. And I've been the happiest I've ever been.
