And can we talk about perimenopause/menopause? It's ridiculous that I was tested for a myriad of diseases before someone was able to tell me that my symptoms were perimenopause - something that nearly HALF of the world will experience.

There is very little information available and most women are never offered any relief from symptom - and if they are it's in the form of antidepressants, which again plays into the idea that it's all in our heads.

Completely ridiculous.

Anyway, great article! I'm glad to see this issue getting more and more attention.
