As with many fought for freedoms, there seems to be a period in which the pendulum swings to the extreme opposite before coming back to center. I believe this may be the case with sex positivity.

I don't believe anyone should ever marry before they've had at least a few sexual experiences (hard to know if you're sexually compatible if you've never had sex), but to think there won't be physical and emotional consequences to some of these more extreme actions would be naive.
