A woman has to take every threat seriously. Thoughts turn into words which turn into actions. If someone is willing to say those words in a very public setting, they're halfway there, and we have to assume they are willing to go all the way and take action.

More men than not do not say things like that even "just kidding around". 99.9% of rapists are never caught nor punished. So we have to assume every man is capable, and most especially the ones who are threatening it.
