Connection is much easier to come by when talking comes first. I'm not sure how other women feel, but I feel literally zero attraction for someone based on looks. I don't care if he's Zac Efron or Brad Pitt. It does nothing for me.

What does attract me is engaging conversation. So someone approaching me that is a complete stranger is likely always going to be met with resistance. And I'd be willing to bet a lot of women are like this. But if we already have something in common and/or some good communication going - he's much more likely to get a positive response.
