Even men are afraid of other men, which is not the point of the article, but appears to relate more to the comments section.

The men who give pushback in these comments and other article's comments are the problematic men in society. They are literally the men these articles are written about.

Once I realized that, it made it much easier to discount every comment they make.

As with naughty children we need to ignore them. They simply enjoy turning the attention back to themselves.
