Hormones are a b*tch. It's such an uphill battle. I do 30 minutes on the stairmaster 3-4 x per week, walk 3 miles on the treadmill (can't run because then cortisol kicks up and I REALLY can't lose weight), and I lift heavy weights (as instructed by my personal trainer who I trained with for a year) 3-4x per week.

All while maintaining a strict high fiber, low fat diet recommended for perimenopausal women.

If I'm lucky I lose a pound a week. And whether or not I lose weight is irrelevant to my belly swelling up many days a week.

No danger of looking like J. Lo for me. Guess I'd better make more money so I can hire a team to make me hot again lol.
