I agree with most of your sentiments, but I do have to disagree about Amber Heard. I watched the trial for myself (not the recaps) and based on the recorded evidence including the words from Amber's own mouth, I found her to be repulsive and abusive. If she had evidence showing that she was the victim, she did not show it in court.

I was the victim of DV when I was 18-19 and I've since learned everything I can about it (and continue to even today). I knew what this movie was about and intentionally avoided it. I'm not a fan of Colleen Hoover nor her writing.

I love Blake Lively. I avoid the news and social media and I am sorry to hear that she's been going through this. But it's not uncommon for the abuser to be well liked and regarded. They are manipulative and know exactly what they're doing, so it doesn't surprise me, especially in Hollywood.
