I believe a lot of the "asexual" women are that way because we're told from the time we're little that sex is bad, that we are to blame for unwanted sexual advances, and shamed for seeking out sexual pleasure. It is very difficult to overcome those internalized messages. I hurt for the women who do not enjoy their sexuality as it truly is a beautiful gift when it is not destroyed by society.
