I can't imagine how I would have felt if I'd heard about slow living while raising my four children - one of whom has Cystic Fibrosis. The thought would have simply destroyed any will I had left to live.
I would have LOVED to have been able to slow down as you have stated here.
Luckily, my children are now raised and I adopted slow living almost in response to how busy my life was as a mom with young children. It was like I couldn't take a second more busyness in my life and started being mindful and intentional with everything I did. The actual social media movement of slow living came around much later for me, but I love to incorporate some of the tips.
But you are absolutely correct that the slow living movement created on social media is unattainable (even for the creators for the most part), so it is necessary to adapt it into your own life the way it fits best.
I love everything about this article. Well done!
