I confided in my parents as well. No topic is off limits with my kids, nor was it off limits with my parents. Obviously there are still things we don't discuss for one reason or another, but for the most part - especially something medical, even if it's sexual in nature - should always be open for communication.

I doubt he Googled it. He trusts the people in his family to give him better advice than some random person online.
