I do understand your point. And it's true. Women, exclusively, have been entrusted with these life and death decisions.

But it makes no sense for a woman to lie about birth control and then have an abortion if she gets pregnant. So the lie would be to "trap" you into having a child. I think if you are truly concerned about becoming a father - you take matters into your own hands. Wear a condom, get a vasectomy, or engage in something besides vaginal intercourse. You definitely have options on the front side, just not once you've actually gotten her pregnant.
