I got a degree in accounting. It's useful, but unpleasant. I've heard that the rule of thumb is - if it's an enjoyable career path, it won't pay much. The more painful the day to day job is, the better it pays. Except for teaching, of course. Which is equal parts painful and equal parts low paying.

But here I am on Medium every day because it is my outlet to a life I could have had if I had studied a more enjoyable subject such as English lol.

Apparently we all end up in the same place in the end anyway!
