I know plenty of socially awkward men who do not make jokes about rape or violence towards women. It has literally nothing to do with attractiveness. It's when he says the quiet part out loud that he's calling attention to himself as a threat.

And it's men like you, who refuse to see it that allow for rape culture to continue, though I'm starting to see a pattern and wondering if those of you who are so offended by this article are actually the problematic men walking amongst us.

"Every 98 seconds, someone in the US is sexually assaulted. More than 1 in 3 women have experienced rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. 91% victims of rape and sexual assault are female; 9% are male."
