I read that article as well! And it's a real problem that young people really aren't learning how to socialize.

My 21 year old is in school and had a woman in one of his classes that (through his eyes) appeared to be giving him all the signals. He never did bring himself to talk to her. I sort of get it - he's probably my most shy child, but I wish he could see that she's just a person and he can approach her like he would a dude. I'm not actually sure that he talks to the men in his classes either, though, come to think of it...

But again my boys are young - I don't think ANYONE is ready for a relationship at that age - so I'm happy to watch them simply get their life feet under them. And I'd love for them to fully mature and come into their own before trying to bring a woman into their lives.
