I stand by what I've said in other articles, that you absolutely do not need to be a millionaire to live and retire comfortably.

I just wanted to point out that, especially if you start investing young, you can be a millionaire pretty easily. I've spoken to several people who are millionaires simply through investing in their 401k.

Life will throw challenges your way - it's the nature of life - so the formula isn't perfect - but it's the attitudes about money that usually trip us up more than anything else.
