I think the obvious answer is woman changes diaper, man lifts manhole cover. And I don't disagree. The problem comes in when man says, I'm not doing either and woman does both jobs. Or woman changes 14 diapers a day and man lifts manhole cover once a quarter and calls it even.
That's what happened in my marriage with my children's father. I did all labor, and there was no division. That's the problem women are having in marriages. The labor distribution is so unfairly divided that we'd rather just live alone.
