I truly don't think you know just how much you're telling on yourself with this comment. Most of the things you're saying simply show that the woman wasn't into you. A woman who will "lie down like dead seastars" aren't enjoying themselves. It IS happening TO them if they aren't a willing participant.

I think you are proving the author's point rather graphically. If you are THIS pushy, you are finding women who don't want you, but are too afraid to say no.
