It's devastating that in 2024, an otherwise healthy baby is fighting for her life.
I'm sorry for your birth trauma as well. My daughter went through two near death experiences (for different reasons) while delivering my grandsons and it's not something you can really predict.
I truly don't understand anyone taking the risk. I've heard people say stupid things like, "I don't want to deliver a baby in a bed that someone else died in yesterday."
Sorry, but I'd still rather have life saving equipment on hand.
