I was pregnant at 16, a mom by 17. A mom to four by 24. I didn't have much time to worry about my own personal growth until I was about 32 and my youngest started kindergarten and I went back to college.

As a young mom to so many, I'm sure I looked like an easy victim. And clearly, I was.

We're all on our own paths. I'm just glad I got there! Many people really never do.
