I was staunchly pro forced birth for a long time. I get it, I really do. But the issue is so nuanced, and especially after raising a child with my abuser I would never judge a woman for not wanting to subject herself and her child to that.
Nor would I ever subject a child to carrying a baby that her body isn't ready for. Just because you can get pregnant doesn't mean it's safe or healthy for your body.
But the biggest problem I have with men weighing in is that you and I both know that if men could get pregnant there would be drive thru abortion clinics on every corner and they'd be allowed to pursue permanent birth control methods, no questions asked (oh yeah, similar to how it is now).
