If you read through the comments, I think you'll find that women also agree. some women may like the wedding aspect (I eloped), which was literally the bread crumbs thrown to us to make the idea of being owned by a man more palatable, but do not kid yourself for one second - marriage was created for men to own a domestic servant. Why would women be in favor of keeping that?
