I'm sad for her. If she feels this is the only way she adds value to society, she has been very damaged. Her mother manages her money. Her father's friends watch her content. My parents are loving and supportive people. They absolutely want me to chase my dreams. But seeing how many men I can put inside me in a 24 hour period? There is nothing to prove by doing that. It's not even sexual at that point. It is simply damaging. That would be like me trying to set the record for how much cutting I could tolerate in a 24 hour period. I'm sure someone has done it. But it's self harm nonetheless. And you wouldn't question whether someone cutting was in their right mind - you'd know they were engaged in self harm. This is Lily's own version of that. And I'm sad for her. Even if it doesn't show, she is hurting. A lot. And you're right, time will tell, but will anyone involved ever be honest enough with themselves to fully investigate why they were okay participating in it? Hard to say for sure.
