It's sad to think we'd need to get what is necessary to support the raising of children through force.

I don't think this would work for a simple reason. Raising children is hell. Women do it with the expectation of not having to do it alone. So I suppose if you could change our society back into a community where the full burden wasn't on each individual mother you could gain some traction, but offering to "let us" do it alone is no incentive at all.
