It's so much bigger than body count. It's a whole attitude that has been around since the beginning of time. It's about men and the church policing what we can and cannot do with our bodies. It's about the shame that has been brought to women over our sexuality. But the free rein given to men to do whatever they choose without condemnation, up to and including rape.

And it's always been done in the name of religion. If you can't see the religious undercurrent then you are choosing not to.
