I've never heard Doug Emhoff speak either. I'm guessing it's because the things he's talking about aren't exciting and dangerous and taboo.

The things he's saying also aren't divisive, which is what our culture is based on at this point. Nobody wants to read an article that doesn't get them riled up. That's not fun. That doesn't get the dopamine flowing. Our culture has become so addicted to the thrill of adrenaline pumping that we seek it out in everything we do.
