I've seen dozens of compilations on IG or TikTok that show dads "saving" the baby at the last minute, right before they get injured - but the dad is almost always doing something with the child that is the cause of the near miss.

As a mom, I simply never played in a way that could endanger my child, and I really don't know why men feel the need to.
