Love this real life take. I always thought I wanted to be a writer, but then I went to college. I didn't write for pleasure at all for about a decade.

That's when I realized, I want to keep writing as a hobby. When I have to write on an assigned topic, I loathe writing. I simply like writing what I want to write when I want to write it. Pretty sure 98% of us fall into that category - it's just a matter of whether you're willing to sell your soul to get paid instead.
