Maybe. But I've found the same thing to be true on dating apps as well. More provocative pictures = more likes. In fact when I was using them, I would trade out pictures to see what responses I got. Without fail, the ones that included more skin or a sexier pose ALWAYS resulted in not only more likes but more aggressive, sexual based comments and communication. Do your own experiment if you like, but this is a real phenomenon.
