My kids and I bought a big house and live as a multi-generational family. I did this very intentionally so they wouldn't be strapped into corporate America if they didn't want to be. At this point they all work part time and make enough to pay rent and buy a few things for themselves every check, but aren't buying into the grind. And they're welcome to stay as long as they want.

Hustle culture is a lie we've been fed and I'm over it. I will not pass it on to the next generation of workers. At least not the ones I raised. They'll have our house - hopefully free and clear by the time I die which will give them freedom I never had.

Great article! Love your thoughts!
