My only point in saying "a case could be made" is that we consider it rape when a woman is too drunk to consent. I'm simply making the comparison that she was clearly not in her right mind.

I made this statement because I was molested as a baby (3 years old), before I can remember, and I acted out in similar ways, though nothing so dramatic as Lilly. It would not surprise me to learn that Lilly endured some similar trauma. The fact that she had to dissociate to make it through her stunt does not bode well, nor does her self deprecation.

My point in writing this is to call attention to the fact that she's clearly hurting. If she had spent 24 hours trying to show how much cutting she could tolerate we'd see it as the self harming behavior that it is. But because it's sex, it's viewed differently. But rest assured it's the exact same thing in a prettier wrapping.
