Not true at all. Maybe for a one nighter, but certainly not for a relationship. I think conventionally unattractive women just don't even hit your radar as potential partners so you ignore them completely - just as the author has stated here.

I know at least a handful of women who would love a man - whatever he looked like - to adore them. Yet they are never chosen because men don't even SEE them. Like they don't even exist.
