Of course the human toll is tragic, but I'm glad you've taken the time to talk about the animals. They don't understand what's going on or why their families left them. As a pet lover it's heart rending.

My 2 older dogs would never make it through something like this. It would be more humane to euthanize them than leave them to fend for themselves on the street.

War is despicable. If you are not mature enough to talk it out, you should not be in charge of anything. And if you're simply power hungry, trying to take land that isn't yours, you should be hung and made an example of. I'm horrified that the rest of the world is just sitting back watching Ukraine fight to keep their homes.

War should never be an option. Period.
