Or maybe I go to the doctor seeking medication that I'm unable to get without a prescription. Or because I know I need surgery, but can't perform it on myself. 99.9% of the time when I go to the doctor I already know what's wrong with my body, I'm simply not allowed to diagnose or treat it myself.
Most people know when they have a kidney stone, an ear infection, a broken bone. It's the rare doctor visit when a patient has no idea what's going on with himself.
And since you've clearly never been on the receiving end of a doctor telling you, "I have no idea what's going on with your body" then let me clue you in. They may have more diagnostic tools at their disposal, like checking bloodwork or running an MRI, but they don't know either.
I can't wait until the first time you receive medical advice that you whole-heartedly disagree with, but go along with anyway because you are "uncertain how you could possibly know what is best for your body or mind in that situation".
I repeat again, YIKES.
Honestly, you hold some terrifying beliefs. Please never get into politics where you can ruin people's lives.
Please and thank you.
