Sadly, I think men and fathers will have far more impact on boys than women will or do - as exemplified by literally every generation throughout history.

So basically men will need to learn to do better and then teach their sons. I tried to teach my sons, I gave them safe spaces, I let them feel their emotions, I was highly aware of the lessons they'd be learning outside my care. And yet, their father and society had far more bearing on how they deal with their emotions as adults.

As far as giving grace, I think this should be true for all people in general. We are all just doing our best out here, so we should obviously give grace to anyone who is struggling.
