Sex is not a need. Sorry, but it's not. If it were you'd die without it. And plenty of people remain single their whole life, with no sex, and even thrive in their lives. You may want to review the definition of an actual human need - good, water, sleep, etc.

I do understand it's on Maslow's hierarchy of needs, but it's more generally a "need", not at the individual level, but for the human race to not die out, which arguably might be better for the planet.
