Technological advances might remove the need for their brute strength in those tasks as well.

And then what's left? Maybe men need to rediscover what makes them valuable to society.

Women would love to have supportive, caring partners. But men have said they aren't "good at that" and opted out.

Women would love to have partners in child rearing, but many men have said, "women are naturally better at that" and opted out.

Women would love to have partners in paying for household expenses and making sure household tasks get completed, but men have said, "You just want me for my money" and opted out.

These are obviously generalizations, but I'm trying to make a point. Women want men in their lives. How is that not heads and tails better than needing one? Men need to learn how to be a supportive husband and father instead of believing that they can just throw money at the family and call it a day.
