The problem with addressing misandry is that men have held the power throughout the centuries. So women can hate men all they want and it does not affect men's ability to make a living or live a peaceful existence.

By contrast, misogyny has held women back. We've been unable to work and create our own financial wealth until very recently. Up until 1974 women could not hold a mortgage without a male cosigner. That was only 50 years ago.

In addition, women have been subjected to having unwanted babies or blamed for sexual advances with no recourse, because the courts were created by men for men. It's the reason rape is so very rarely prosecuted.

So maybe there will be a case to be made for discussing misandry when women hold all the power and men cannot advance in this world.

But until then, let's keep to the topics that are actually affecting people's ability to provide for themselves and stop trying to control the conversation so that real change never happens.
