The questions were rhetorical, meant to make you put yourself in those people's shoes. Obviously with your leanings, you would try to make an excuse for why a self-respecting woman, person of color, or member of the LGBTQ+ population would vote for him.
But, in reality, for the most part their answers are - no we absolutely will not vote for Trump, so it doesn't really matter what you *think* their answers should be.
Trump may not be an official member of the KKK, but he sure has their support. He certainly has groups like the Proud Boys watching out for him. Why do you think that is?
Maybe because of his long-standing racist views he's expressed proudly and openly. You can Google that as easily as I can.

And that's just a few. He has been insulting to basically every single population in the country besides white men. If you truly believe that his policies are so great that we shouldn't worry about the fact that he's a bully as his default personality, that he idolizes dictators like Putin, and is barely able to string a sentence together (the interview with Musk was embarrassing) then I'm sorry to tell you that you just aren't living in reality.
I just read an article on Medium that discussed the Me politics of the Republican party and the We politics of the Democrats. It basically all comes down to - if you are only concerned about yourself, you vote for the Me party. If you are concerned about your neighbors and the policies that affect them, you're voting for the We party. Ironically, Christians tend to vote for the Me party. Apparently they are Christian in name only.
You and I are governed by such different guiding principles. I know that because when I was married to my children's father, who is a flaming right winger, I too was drawn in for a time. And you know what? I didn't recognize myself. Republicans have become a party of hate.
So I'm choosing the party of hope.
We can't discuss policies until we discuss the division in this country. Will DT sew more division with his hateful words? Or do you HONESTLY believe he is a uniter. Don't answer that because he already had a chance to be a uniter and there have never been more hate groups in America.
The fact is, he has attacked every group I listed before. And we are 100% not voting for him. We were going to vote AGAINST him by voting for Biden, but now we're voting FOR Kamala with our whole hearts. If you don't believe she's reunited and energized the base you are sorely confused. Check out her fundraising totals - mostly by first time donors. Check out her crowd sizes. Check out what the average Democrat, like me, is saying.
He's an old has been. Nobody cares about his rants anymore. He got elected saying he'd drain the swamp. But he is the swamp. And after one term, it was clear he was just the same con man he's always been. And he lost. Fair and square. Even his VP won't counter that assertion.
He's a dangerous, power-hungry con man. I don't say that about any other Republican. They're simply from a different school of thought. Just him.
