The really crazy part is, they were in a car accident a few months ago. Her wrist was broken in two places by the air bag. He was uninjured. And he has continued to let her clean up after him.

She confided in me that she fell in love with the man who was single and self-sufficient. She didn't know that he would no longer be that man if they got married.

This story is not unusual, so I'm not sure which conclusions you think I'm jumping to. He wasn't love bombing her. He's not abusive. I can't say whether or not he's neurodivergent - but he sure had everything managed BEFORE he had her to pass it off to.

He's simply doing what basically every man does once they are married. Her story is not unusual - in fact it is the norm.

I'm guessing you are young. Once you see this happen to every single one of your female friends, as well as yourself, you will likely have a different outlook.
