The red flag is your attitude about it, not that it exists. I do not believe it is easier for women to find a partner. I guess if I wanted just ANYONE, maybe that's true, but in my experience men are still looking for a live in maid, which I'm wholly unwilling to be. So I choose being single. Finding a male partner who is emotionally intelligent enough to carry his part of the load has proven near impossible.

There is a disconnect in which women have become independent and men have not evolved to be the partners they deserve, instead of the drain on our resources, as has been the case for our whole history up until now. So women are refusing to partner up. If you'd like a partner you'll need to evolve to match the new requirements. I don't think that will happen quickly - it may take generations, but eventually a balance will be reached.

Until then, though, women have every right to choose to opt out of being saddled with a "partner" who does not enhance her life, but is simply a drain on her resources.
