There are as many relationship/family horror stories as there are stars in the sky. I don't understand why some people are not born with the instinct to protect the innocent, but far too many people aren't.

Completely unrelated - but the war in Gaza gives me the same vibes. If you are able to MURDER innocent children because of your hatred of their parents, you are objectively a terrible person. And you should probably be separated from your life.
