This is such an insightful article. As a woman entering perimenopause, weight has suddenly become an even bigger issue for me. I'm grateful to be in a mentally healthy place where I can love my body simply for everything it does for me every day, but I know many who are not.
As a side note, I would appreciate it ever so much if the FDA would do its job and keep our food healthy and fit for consumption. I believe many of the issues we face with health and weight are related to the fact that our food is over processed with artificial ingredients. I would love to shop at Whole Foods or similar but can't afford it right now, so I'm stuck trying to find decent food options at the main grocery chains.
