We have mostly decided (especially the older we get) to simply spend our lives alone. It's no longer necessary nor desirable to have a male partner who is unable to improve our lives in some way. We are happy to have our autonomy and our peaceful lives. Women are making this choice younger and younger. So no, being objectified will not persist now that we know we have options. Eventually men will have to figure it out. Or the species will die off (which arguably isn't a bad thing).
