What you're implying in this article is that women in western countries should put our fight on hold until women all over the world have attained the level of freedom we have.
That makes no sense at all.
I know some podcasters put words together that sometimes sound important, but it doesn't mean they are.
Comparing abuses is never a great starting point for important conversations. It's like saying "Maybe we shouldn't provide people in the US with food stamps, because people in Africa have it so much worse."
Do you see how they are false equivalents?
We may be in a better place fighting for our rights as humans, but that doesn't mean we should stop calling out bad behaviors until the rest of the world catches up.
