Women have been carrying the lions share of the child rearing responsibilities for generations. A woman saying she doesn't want to do that is not equivalent to a man saying it. Because regardless the man will never have to carry a child inside his body.

I'm simply saying I don't feel bad for him. He knew she didn't want to have children. So when she walked out on him and the kids, it was not unexpected. She never wanted it.

The dad walking out on his family is likely doing them a favor as long as he will provide for them financially. The mom likely gave up a ton of earning potential to be the mom. He didn't. And men walk out on their families ALL THE TIME. It's notable when a woman does it, because so few actually do.

These are false equivalents in so many ways.

In my opinion, whoever says no to kids wins. It's not fair to anyone to bring unwanted children into the world.
